"I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do. Each time I view them, they bring back good memories. If you get the urge to come to the Rocky Mountains and experience this type of lifestyle, give me a call and get enrolled. I will guarantee, if you are willing and able, you will come away a different person."

One of the many gratifying rewards of being a Guide is guiding your family. My Grandson Isaac harvested his first deer and elk this year in Montana. He is 12 years old and worked hard for the game he harvested. There was more hiking and stalking involved than horseback riding. It was a very tough hunting season in Montana 2011 on public lands fair chase. Hunting involves some skill but being in the right country at the right time is what it is all about. Plus having the LORD's leading helps the most! But remember the good times out in the field are not always about getting blood on your hands. If you are only interested in that aspect, I recommend you keep doing what you are doing and don't pursue this lifestyle. Everyone's perspective of a good hunt are different than others.
I still guide and pack and don't leave it up to the so called experts to teach you. If the other schools look at these pictures and see Isaac caping his deer they will probably try to steal him away for an expert!

Students must enroll and complete the ELM Home Study Course Prior to attending hands on training at Bear Paw Outfitters Guide and Packer School II can't say enough good things about the Home Study Course. this course will give you the background on what you are going to learn at Bear Paw's Hands on Training. You will gain more knowledge about this trade than can possibly be covered at any hands on training. It is definitely a good investment and resource that you will refer to in the future. ELM, INC has been around for over 53 + years and were the first to see the need for qualified Guides and Packers. Do not be deceived on other programs and training schools that downplay this valuable guide and packers Bible!
